Hey, I`m having trouble with my first silo setup. I have been searching on bhw but did not find any help. There seems to be lot of information about silos, but many different ways to do it.
I`m using a free silo plugin, I`m not sure if it`s any good but got to start somewhere. Been stuck with this for days...

On the home page I planned to have my main keyword article? What the site is about.

Say that I have a niche site about TVs. Do I put Sony under one silo (number 1) and Philips(2) in an other and About TVs with info about buying in silo (3) posts.?

And then have review`s about Sony TV models in silo 1 posts a,b,c,d?

Or should I have all the brands in Silo 1 and Sony reviews in post a and Philips in post b and so on?

Thanks

For a single niche site like this you don't need to worry about silo structure as much. It's designed to separate completely different subjects/niches.

But if I was to do it, I would treat each brand as a silo with related product reviews in sidebar for that brand only.

TV's - Homepage
S1's Categories (use description for each article) - Phillips, Sony, Best under $xxx, Best 40 inch etc
A/B/C's Posts - Phillips 50FFDS review, Sony 50XBRTDST review.

Go to youtube and type in SEO silo. there's a video by affiliate hustle that covers this. its great to have some visual aid on how to silo a site.
