Hi Everyone,
There is something I can't understand about Silo pages, I've been digging into different blog posts and guides, but it seems that everyone gives a different approach regarding URL structure which looks very confusing to me:
Thanks
There is something I can't understand about Silo pages, I've been digging into different blog posts and guides, but it seems that everyone gives a different approach regarding URL structure which looks very confusing to me:
- The first option is to create an evergreen 4000 - 7000 article for a category page:
- myexamplegolfsite.com/clubs
- myexamplegolfsite.com/clubs/best-golf-club-article
- myexamplegolfsite.com/clubs/best-golf-iron-article
- etc..
- The second option is to create Silo pages without a categorization link structure. So the category page will not be created. rather than that, it will be replaced by another main silo page with great content, but how to make it parent without affecting the URL structure? Many guides say you can rely 100% on the interlinking strategy to provide relevance and define silo pages without having to create sub-silo child pages.
