Hi guys,
I'm starting my SEO learning journey with a website that I created like three months ago. It's not an affiliate website, but rather something like an edu website, where I share my 'knowledge' on a topic (with Books, Online-Courses, Videos).
I came across the topic of SILOS and website structure. I'm wondering what would be better for the user (user experience) as well as SEO:
Is it better to create a structure like domain.com/video-course and have like some information about the videos and what you can learn and sell that directly on that site (like a section with "add to cart" on the bottom of the page). Or would it be better to create an extra domain.com/shop where are all products and domain.com/video-course point to the shop?
I'm thinking about the right cluster of keywords. Like when you have domain.com/shop you could add keywords such as 'buy video course' (which is commercial) and keywords like "what is this video course", "video course", and so on (informational keywords) to domain.com/video-course
Love hearing your opinions!
