If someone is the 1st to share your site over a bitly link, does that mean they are in partnership with you or own your site?

As you would know the person who first shared it would show up with his avatar on your bitly link when thrown into analytics not yourself.

Sorry if it is a strange question but I feel I need to make a point.

I sure hope not that will be a little more than silly. Last I checked there is no site verification with bitly
because they are just a link shorter and traking. Any one can shrink and link at any time. I think you
may be over thinking this. But I could be wrong.

This is the bit I find strange.. you in this thread http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/seo-link-building/769711-h3adrush-massive-search-engine-optimization-28-new-link-types-lvl-99-shiz-nanexo-za-houze-post8470367.html#post8470367, yet here you are now willing to handle other peoples SEO. Strange indeed..

There isn't anything strange about that. He's never serviced me with any private blog networks and I have stated various times before on that same thread that I've my own PBN.

What is strange was that it was the link YOU used and since then the guy has deleted all links from the account.
The link was created on the 23/02 when the site went live.
Curious.

That's because he has removed them after I personally told him about this debacle, pretty straightforward.
I've explained to the mods what his involvement with the site was (no partnership) and that he had made the link initially on Bitl.y.

I appreciate your diligence and would have done the same had I been in your position, but I'm not his partner so I don't want to be affiliated with his person any further.

I was not aware of his bad reputation as he's done me good service in the past so I've never inquired further really.
Thanks for the wake-up call by indirectly letting me check out his background through this incident and will take precautions.

Have a nice day.

It doesnt matter, there is no ownership with bitly or other shorteners.
