Signature Editing Problem

So I have been a member on BHW for 6 months now, and finally got to my 50 posts. How come I cannot edit my signature when it says below that I can. If anyone can help, that would be great! Thanks

You must be a member of the forum for 30 days and have 50 quality posts before you will be allowed to use a signature on this forum. In order to use links or images in your signature, you must be a "Donor." You may post 2-3 affiliate links or 1 banner (728x90 pixels max) in your signature. Do not use a font size larger than 2, crazy fonts/colors, sound clips, excessive smileys, or anything else annoying. Including calls to action such as "PM me"

you have to be a paid member to use sig option. doing it free was removed long time
ago abused. now only payed members can use sig advert. that simple

option 1 donor member no requirements , 97$ a year can use sig
option 2 vip member 100 posts/60 day account/ 97$ a year - FAILED HERE

so your stuck with option 1

They should really think about updating their rules then.

I thought it was Jr VIP for links but regular members could have text signatures?

The majority of the rules here have been amended multiple times due to different abuses (black hat forum = people always look for loopholes and to exploit things), they change constantly not to mention a lot of big changes when the forum was sold maybe 5, 6 or 7 years ago. The rules are mostly updated but also are written in multiple places so often the old rule will still be written somewhere even if it was updated in 4 or 5 other places it gets missed somewhere. As always though you can ask if you can't figure something out and people will tell you quickly as happened here.

PS. I recommend getting the 100 posts before donating and then upgrading to JR VIP instead of donating, has more percs/benefits for the same price and both allow you to get your sig with links/banner.

I just read that you should be a member for 30days. its included on the TOS of blackhatworld

Signatures used to be available to all user classes but as the forum grew bigger and bigger the level of abuse was not worth it any more. So it's Premium+ classes now.
