They are usually pretty fair and of course you can see the stats in the ppc section of your cj account. When Obama started the whole health care thing, I did a bunch with a health care company and made some nice cash.

That trend kind of died out and the health care company is no longer a ppc deal over there but debt settlement always produces action. Middle to lower middle class areas are probably your best bet for debt settlement.

I'm pretty sure that they have to owe at least 7,500 or 10,000 to qualify and of course you want to make sure that your state is not excluded from their offer.

When I type in pay per call in the search box, only about 15 different offers come up in cj, and about 6-7 are pay per call companies. Do you know of any other pay per call affiliate websites that offer this program? This is really neat stuff. I have 400 blank signs sitting in the garage right now, all I have to do is wait for cj to approve my ppc account, and I will post about 50 tonight to test this.
 
Funny coming across this thread. Just the other day I was on the service road running alongside a highway. I'm stopped at a red light, and to my left I can see a metal sign attached to the fence covering the grassy area (blue on white sign by the way).

It was for a traffic ticket lawyer. And it hit me that this can be a good idea. Virtually free marketing for something that might appeal to a diverse amount of people who happen to be driving by. Or some local SEO services for people in the area. I though about just putting up a sign with an easy to remember domain and just redirect them to the money site. Might even be good for CPA.

Find a busy place around a school and market to soccer moms and that sort of thing. Or stick up a dating site sign around the corner from a sexaholics outpatient clinic.

CJ is the only one that I know of that offers this but there has to be more companies out there that offer it. I know they have very few PPC companies in their quiver.

One thing that you have to do with the PPC companies is to get approved for their base program before you get approved for PPC so you should apply now to get the ball rolling.

Another thing I did back in the day was to make a deal with some landscapers/pool guys etc and tell them you will sell them leads of people looking for their service. I used to put out 50 signs every Friday night with my cell # and offer "Great Landscaping at Spectacular Prices!"

I'd get the call from Mrs. Jones see if she qualified and set up an appointment to give her an estimate. Very easy call to take and very easy to get the appointment.

I honestly forget what I charged for the lead to the landscaper but it was well worth the effort and getting landscapers on board was not the least bit hard. Grab the yellow pages and start making calls... go to craigslist and see who was looking for customers.

This was a spring time thing when I did it and I did it over at my Tampa home but I know it will work anywhere.

White sign, big fat black sharpie... makes you look like the neighborhood landscaper looking for biz.

Thanks Bass, I am using a 15mm black marker (very thick) and all white signs. Some of my signs are yellow.

Good idea about the landscapers, but to be honest, I don't have the time to take any more calls. Wife, 3 kids, part-time student, real estate business, creating articles for my IM sites, the dog still needs a daily walk, lol, so no more phone calls for me. But the marketing can never stop.
 
If you are putting signs out on a Saturday, target the big box stores like Home Depot etc... you have to put them out after 9:30 so the employees do not grab them... Sams club used to be an outstanding spot for me. I used h-frames and put them in the ground there and would pick them up in the evening before the store closed and replace them the following morning.
 
In my town you'll see signs for "new queen mattress set $200" all over the place and its growing each year. Can someone explain this scam?

The mattresses are used and just cleaned... usually former motel/hotel mattresses cleaned and heat sealed in plastic.
 
This is intersting to me. I live in a hugely populated metro area and see these type of signs everywhere. I'm curious what the ROI is on something like this?

Lol, in my city also. They may be a wholesale mattress liquidation store trying to quickly get off all their mattress sets. It must be working because I am seeing more and more "mattress set $150" around my city. Its funny how the more we get into the business of posting bandit signs, the more we start to notice what others are marketing with theirs.

And the guys that are selling 600 thread count linens for 20.00 per set on the empty service station lots are not selling that kind of quality either.

I've sold to all those guys back in the day.

Bass check this out,

I have no clue how long it will take for CJ to hit me back and about the ppc approval so I will be moving on to another campaign. It is nothing for me to buy a domain (namecheap account cashed up), get me a phone number (google voice), and get some views (bandit signs).

I am seriously looking for a good campaign to run tonight, but sort of on pause right now. Got my signs laid out, marker in hand, but seriously stuck on the campaign to lauch. lol. Based off your experience, what would be a good online offer to run with my offline marketing (signs) right now? *tonight*
 
Hey Bass, cj just sent me an email stating that I was approved for its pay per call publishing. I am very excited to see how this works out. I mean seriously at 15-28 bucks a call, I can't wait start my marketing.

good stuff here, my wife is opening a daycare business, i think the small tips in this thread will help her get alot of calls. I will use this knowledge for her..and maybe for some local companies, include it in my SEO package

Works real well for daycare... I used to have some daycare clients back int he day.
