Sidereel

I've built a few streaming shows sites and have yet to monetise them. As much as i'd prefer to just get SEO traffic it's just not practical. I see Sidereel is allowing us to add links on certain shows and I want to get in on that traffic. The problem is I was thinking of monetising with some sort of content gateway which is a no-no with sidereel. Does anyone know if they're okay with the site if u have a close button on the gateway?

Why not contact them yourself?

Well if you are going to contact them, mention the close button.

Many (including me) hate gateways like CPA, with NO close button, but I would have no problems at all with a gateway with a close button, they have to profit too


But they might allow it.

They won't allow a close button either because according to them not everyone notices the button. Your best shot if you want to promote via gateways is to submit the sites first without gateways, then add them. Of course they won't last forever though, but sometimes some links might stick for a decent amount of time before getting deleted.

Thanks guys yeh tbh it may be a case of finding some other way to monetise it as, if anyone's read some of the crazy controversial tactics which may soon be employed by google, relying on engine traffic is foolish. I have complete monopoly over the show I'm streaming as it's not as sought after as the biggies but I believe 60% of my traffic will come from sidereel now i've added the links. Just have no idea how to monetise a stream site better than content gateways....

yeah remove your gateway
