[Sidereel Method] - How I made over $5000 in one month

Figured it's time to give back. I'm gonna tell you pretty much exactly how I made $5k in around one month from a Sidereel technique already posted by another user but with my own twist on it.

Now, most of you probably remember the Sidereel method a good user posted here, which basically consisted on posting "Links" to tv show episodes in their respective Sidereel pages which would take users to your website, which was basically a simple CPA gateway. People eventually started selling auto link adders, etc etc

Well, I looked at that and said fuck it, I'm not gonna sit there submitting a link for 50+ episodes for EACH tv show, knowing that on top of that it'll be deleted 5 seconds after it's posted. Nor am I gonna pay $250 for an auto poster which will probably not work after a week. BTW, now no one can add links to episodes besides Sidereel, so there you go.

So I looked for another way to take advantage of Sidereel's huge user base and a light bulb turned on. Here's what I did:

Inside each TV show or Movie page, there is a section for Reviews and News where any user can post since the site is based around community-fed content. So I figured I'd post a review in a bunch of tv show and movie pages and the only thing I would put in the review is a captivating link saying "Watch this episode online free in HD DivX". Hint: When posting a review you can add up to 5 tvshows/movies (Topics) for it to be posted to.

When I started doing that, I only posted a couple and replaced them after they were deleted a couple of hours after, but I actually got good traffic and made maybe $30-40 per day. So I figured, shit if I do this only 1-2 hours per day and it generates $30-40 daily, logic says that if I do it longer, the profits will be much higher!

And so I did, I outsourced the posting to some indians. Paid them $10 a day to post reviews during US daytime hours, from 10AM to midnight nonstop and BAM! Started generating anywhere from $150 to $400 daily and all I spent were $10 daily!! JACKPOT!! Note: profits varied since during weekdays people don't watch so many movies as say, a Sunday night

In any case, I've stopped doing that because the indians got their Ips banned and couldn't keep on doing it, plus I think Sidereel is checking more now, but I suggest you try it out! You have nothing to lose and this generated OVER $5000 in only a month.

EDIT: I forgot to add, my website wasn't like any crappy CPA gateway with crappy ass conversions. I always maintained 20%+ conversions with my landing page.

Here's how I did it:

The background of the page was simply a screen capture of Suprnovatube but kind of greyed out, then a little box would pop up with a progress bar going from 0 to 100% (nice web2.0 graphics) and when it reached 100%, it would tell the user that they have to enter their email in order to get High Definition DivX Streaming. Whether they clicked OK, Cancel or the little X, they were sent to my offer. The good conversion rate was because people actually thought they were in Suprnovatube which is a well known movie site with divx streaming so they went ahead with the email submit with less fear.

There is one question: how to realise this traffic? May be PPC ?

If you mean how to monetize it.. if it wasn't clear enough, you use email submits from CPA networks.

Read the part about how the website I sent them to worked, telling the users they had to enter their email in order to get HD divx streaming, then sent them to the email submit and thats it.

If you like the method, a little thank you is never too much!

How about use some automation like iMacros to post reviews?

Creativity like yours never hurts to earn extra cash. Those TV related sites always have potential to generate interest. Is it possible for your indians to use proxies to continue their posting and get traffic to the site anyways?

You were doing it all wrong though. If you were the person i think you are, you were adding them all with generic titles etc, and adding them to a bunch of shows. You could have made triple the amount if you put up each one individually, with a title relating to the show. And also a pic relating to the show. Plus you can use live http headers plugin for firefox to grab the post page. Then all you have to do is type captchas all day.

In anycase this no longer works for two reasons. CPALead is pretty fucked nowadays and are always having issues. And the other issue being that cpalead can now ban links from inside the posts. So you cant have live links with cuts down on your earning massively.

Have you received the payment? In most cases, your CPA account would be banned because the traffic is bad. The traffic won't convert for the advertisers.

I always wanted to have that kind of creativity in me.

what do you mean by cpalead can now ban links from inside the posts. Are you referring to sidereel?

You bet I got paid, in fact, the CPA network in question was bummed out and asked me what happened when I stopped promoting!

I was one of the other persons who do this, and yes made more than 5000$ from it, but I stopped it after a while, becouse they reported my sites to hostgator, and they wanted to disable my hosting for spamming, so watch out about that when you want to do major spamming!

O yeah my bad. Yeah sidereel can disable links through posts. Actually i think words. So like a swear word filter, but they just add various sites to it. You can to like

etc. So split it up and it will work. But much less conversions. If you go to alexa and check on sidereel's rank. It has basically dropped dramatically.

They threatened to report my site. Infact stupid me didnt have whois protection on my domain. The infamous TVQueen posted my whois details and actually a google street view of those details. They were old details and incorrect, but none the less it was funny.

Yep, that QueenBitch reported me 24/7.. I went through 4 hosting accounts since I was doing some heavy ass spamming and they reported me to all my hosts, even though I had Whois Guard, the nameservers were visible nonetheless.

What I did to resolve that issue was simply get reseller hosting with my own nameservers on a random domain I had, so after that, they were reporting my spamming to myself

so for the record, this method is no longer doable, right?

It's a bit harder, but as long as you think outside the box, it should be doable.

BTW, this isn't the only way to profit off of Sidereel. I've made money taking advantage of Sidereel through other techniques... Hint.. cookies
