Sidebar Highlighting

When I go to the Blackhatworld mail page (https://www.blackhatworld.com/): the sidebar highlights the Main Forums section, even though I am on the home page:



When I click on Home, it still does it.

But when I click on Main Forums, it takes me to the forum page: https://www.blackhatworld.com/forums/

Shouldn't Home be highlighted when you first visit the site?

If you have OCD, yes it probably does.

The white theme is flawed in a few areas, which is why I don't really use it.

For example, when I get a notification I can't actually see what it says, because the text and background colour are the same until I over over it.

It's not a white theme issue; it's like that on the black version as well.

I'm not sure how Xenforo works as I don't have much experience with being an administrator on forums, but perhaps it's like this because https://www.blackhatworld.com/forums is really the homepage, but the address bar still displays https://www.blackhatworld.com/ as the URL (it's just overridden by Xenforo when you visit the homepage URL).

If I recall correctly, something like this happens on Wordpress when you use a static page as your posts page; if you have both the main URL (www.site.com) and the static post page's URL (www.site.com/static) in the menu bar, the static post page's menu item will be highlighted in the menu bar when you're on the home page rather than the home page's menu item.


Sorry if that sounds confusing.
