I've been sick for the past few days with a horrible stomach virus. I woke up this morning with 47 IM's and several messages on IRC. I'll get to everyone when I'm back on my feet, but for now, I'm living in my bathroom and just trying to hold down the water I'm drinking. I haven't ate shit in 2 days and have lost 5 pounds already. I'm praying for death right now, but I'll probably be back in full swing by the end of the week.

If it gets to where you can't keep any liquids down pofecker, as much as guys hate to, you need to see a doc cuz dehydration is very VERY serious! Hope you feel better soon hun! You po-thing.....
 
Just take your time. The world will keep on rolling ( at least, that's what my wife always tells me ).

I'm drinking water as slowly as I can to keep myself hydrated, although it's definitely a challenge atm. If this keeps up, I'll def goto the doc. Thanks for your concern.

Get well buddy, whenever I have something like this I always try 7up. Seems to stay down OK and settles stomach. Hope you are well soon.
 
Sounds rough.. that's the worst thing I hate in the world is throwing up and being sick. I would rather be ran over I think.
I just hate the feeling.

Get well soonest!! Being sick sucks, unless it is in the head, then, well, maybe not so much so, but, that, I guess, would be a matter of opinion.

Try some Gatorade, to refill you body with minerals. And there's something call doctor, they are those people dress in white with a third metal eye in their head.
 
One thing that works really great for nausea is Emetrol. You can get it at any drug store and it will get your gut feeling much, much better.

It contains glucose and is used in hospitals too, to treat nausea. Then it might be easier to hydrate yourself.

Someone else in this thread said they would rather be run over than have a stomach virus... I agree and that's why I keep a bottle of this stuff around, just in case I get nailed someday. I haven't had one of those bugs in over 20 years, and would be happy to never get one again, knock on wood.
