Why is it rude? The guy is a spammer and is using this site to get a quick traffic.

You're in a blackhat forum mate. By blackhat forum I mean this is where we learn blackhat techniques to drive fast traffic / income but not to kill other's business. If you read enough here in BHW, you will know how to analyze the site(s) yourself to know how and why they can do that. Finding these sites is pretty easy too.

there is a keyword that i have been exploring for an EXTREMELY competitive area.
there is a one page site ranked #2.
ZERO links, ZERO keywords, and a PR5. its just a sniper type of page...
WTFUDGE?!?!?
 
Same person also has online christian dating, porn, pharmacy, and lots of other verticals he/she is spamming. You know the sites are not lasting long, I am wondering what kind of cash they make in a short while? Also what are they using to get 53k links?
 
1. Buy old domain (this one was registered on feb 25. 2004).
2. Create doorway pages on it.
3. Spam with Xrumer
4. Get fast profit
5. Banhammer from Google :(
6. Go to # 1 and so on and so forth
 
Actually, there are no doorway pages on this site. And thats when I understand doorways as pages cloaked for search engines.
 
Yep I saw them doing the same thing on other keywords using completely irrelevant domain names too. Unbelievable.

Who would you all guess they are making their money from through those links on those pages, Zappos?
 
Nothing unbelievable. All can be done with a good SEO strategy. Variety and Randomly is the key in SEO.
 
The site is already starting to de-rank guys....domain name doesn't really have to be relevant for this to work. Age and backlinks matter though. ;)

Exactly. This thread does not achieve anything, except expose his site. The guy made a simple webpage on old domain, add keywords, and spammed a lot of sites for backlinks. That is it.

Wouldnt it have been a smarter strategy to just go for a lower keyword that still have alot of searches like

Mens Sports Shoes

He would have stood at #1 for alot longer. Though this guy probably made a killing like 20k+ lol.
 
This guy isn't doing anything real crazy as someone already broke it. The main things you need are an old domain, plenty of xrumer licenses/several faster servers and some very very large databases.


I wouldn't be surprised if zappos is doing this for testing to see what is working with Google. Also I would be interested to see how long it stays on the first page.

Yeah... This is just a Zappos affiliate. The link leading to to the actual site is a CJ affiliate link.

This is very easy to do and done all the time.

It seems easy to do with it FAR from easy. Even if he is spamming like hell 24/24, getting 53k links indexed is FUC***ING hard.

Bow to this man and by the way this thread should be deleted. It's not cool to expose someone else niche like that.
 
This is definitely very cool and this guys know his stuff that's for sure. I hate to say it, but that guys link profile would be great to look at and use as a footprint for xrumer.

If you do some research you can see he is ranking for a lot of very competitive keywords.
 
Oh yeah, and take a look at how many .EDU links his domains have too!
That is great! And I would bet money by looking at them that he didn't inherit them while buying those domains, he built them, unless he bought those domains from another black hatter but I highly doubt that since they weren't abused yet, but you never know....
Those EDU backlink sources are great finds (well probably already overspammed now but he had a great thing going). While not necessarily useful to us, we can follow his lead and see what they have in common to see how he found them.
I need to dig in and figure out my friggin tools better obviously.
It works when you know how to use them.

I'm not the site's owner but I see sites / fanpages are posted here almost everyday and that's really suck because what if some one post your site here and kill your revenue (your fanpages get banned / your site getting reported), how do you feel?

posting others' impressive blackhat achievements is a pretty lame move. if you find something impressive, shut your fucking mouth, research what they've been doing and try to apply it yourself, but don't go outing it on forum wit thousands of embers. you could have just killed someone's cashcow for all you know. how'd you like to be in those boots and have someone running their mouth cost you a pile of money and effort.

Ya, I wish I knew a better way to grab his footprint and use it in xrumer. 53K indexed links is a lot.
 
Its dropped down about half way now. lol when I checked the site out I didnt even notice the article at the bottom till I seen someone say something about it in here. Very neat. As long as they stay on the front page they will continue to get traffic.
 
Guys, it looks like the PR on this domain dropped from PR3 to PR0. The site is number two right now and it looks like they have slowed down linkbuilding because they dropped down to 47k links from over 50k before.
