Show exerpts on just one page?

Hey everyone!

I made a new page within my site which I am going to use as the blog page and have all my posts showing up on this page. How do I show excerpts on this page only? If I change the content to excerpts it shows on all my pages. How do I make it show excerpts on just the single blog page which I have all my posts displaying? Thanks!

I am using WordPress. I have a static front page, as well as about 15 other pages. I just want to add excerpts in a single page. Anyway I could add just a single condition to the blog page?

You can do it with the php

Thanks so much for the links! I just got it by changing the_content to the_excerpt in my index.php page instead of the page.php page. Excerpts show on my blog page but each page itself shows the full text. Thanks for the help again!
