Hi, I am currently running my account on Instagress (following other people then unfollowing them a few days later), I have a pass for 160 days on it. I was wondering if I should also try to buy a shoutout. I have seen some absurd rates such as $200 for 4 hours on a page with 1m followers. I also see shoutouts on Fiverr but they don't really look that promising. Is there any point in getting a shoutout, and if so are there any reliable sources that yield results?

I think 200$ for a 1mil acc is reasonable. I once bought a hsoutout from fiverr and received literally no followers. Maybe 10 or so. The acc had 300k followers. So my advice would be not to buy shoutouts from fiverr. But thats just my one time experience. I'm hoping others will give you better advice.

Shoutouts are worth to gain followers. It can be a good deal 200$ in a 1m acc but it depends on the activity of the account not on the followers.

I usually dont unfollow with instagress. I unfollow manually on followers+ app or though instagram. So much faster

Buy on Fiverr only from 4.5+ star rated service and level 2 buyers, better if in a specific niche. Otherwise, lower levels, lower ratings = sh*t.

1mln 200$?? who? I want it like right now!!

don't buy from fiverr they all have fake followers i checked them out last week

I actually did a S4S with a couple of fiverr dudes. 1 hour brought me 40 followers.
If you consider that people pay even 150$ to get only 500 followers (even less) from big accounts, the ratio is 30cents per follower. 1 hour shoutout on fiverr costs 5$ and brought me 40 followers, ratio is 12cents per follower....
Don't be stupid guys, numbers exist for a reason. Of course if your account sucks and you only post bad quality pics and sh*tty quotes ..it's not fiverr (or sellers in general) problem, you should go play on tumblr.

it's kinda related with my instagram account growth, now that I'm 31k I go for 550-600 bucks monthly. No CPA, no landing pages, no affiliate links.

Edit: it sounds pretty cool, then you realize that it's only 19 stupid dollars/day lol

Sometimes those big accounts offer quality traffic. You'll notice this once you start buying shoutouts on a regular basis.

There's a reason why they're expensive.

Would rather have 10 quality users than 100 crappy followers from fiverr.

I once bought a shoutout from a big account and didnt have a good result compared to a smaller one and its because I was new and their like/follow ratio was bad. Just take a look if they have good engagement from real people and also sometimes the only way to know is to experiment it and sometimes you just have bad results.

the biggest advantage for me is not that when I get these shoutouts I have such a huge follower boost but I have an engagement boost (likes/comments).

If you're smart enough to buy from a niche-competitor on fiverr, "100 crappy followers" are worth 10x the "10 quality users".
Again, it's about your mind: if you're stupid (or simply you don't even know how to take care of your business) don't even try to enter this world; if you're aware of how it works, and YOU are, you'd better think about it on your own, many guys, even on a high-reputation website like BHW, just go bullsh*tting around, with phrases like "fiverr is sh*t"

Hi
I have 100k+ account....
Still holding myself from endorsements and thinking about growing it first...
Good engagement 10k+ likes, 20k+ views
What should be the perfact price for shoutout?
Cat niche
I asked few people before....
But didn't get the time frame they gave me... Like x$ for 24hr or y$ for 12hr
Can you help?

Try and line up with your niche as much as possible this is very important! Also do your due diligence and make sure the accounts engagement is on point. Some one could have a 1M follower account and get 2000 likes I can't imagine you getting more then a handful of followers from that.
