Shoutout captions

Im in The fitness niche I have about 10,000 followers averaging only 200 to 400 likes per photo. I am curious if posting captions on each shoutout will bring more engagement to my page. I currently only post a pic, tag the person, and the only caption is their (at)pagename. Should I be saying more? Or using hashtags?

If you include caption in your posts, you can increase interaction with your followers, so its logically that you would get more engagement.

I'll obviously cater it to each post but give me a good example of a good cap if you don't mind.

I always have captions on all my photos and end it with a question mark. That way people can comment on the photo
