Hey guys,
I have heard from a trusted SEO source that removing Google Analytics benefits your site!
The reason is that Big Daddy Google uses the GA data as signals to determine rankings, such as user engagement and bounce rate.

I am unsure if this would be the case but it does seem to make sense.
One of my sites due to its nature doesn't have the best user engagement, I know most would say to improve this but it isn't easy due to the huge amount of traffic it gets.

Does anyone agree with removing GA, have you done it in the past and seen good results?

Not sure if this is a white or black hat question but hoping for some help.
Thanks!

Do you suggest removing GSC code too?
If it is true I learned a new thing today. I will remove it and test on my testing website.

I always thought of this, but never tried it to see if it's actually true.

Yeah remove everything is what I have heard, I don't know if its true tho, hence why I am asking the community

Of course it's true. You heard it on an SEO forum so it must be right. Better to just delete all your reporting tools and delete google.com from your browsers as well.

Google has repeatedly stated they use many signals for ranking but GA data isn't directly one of them. I've tested running sites with and without GA, and there was no noticeable impact on rankings from simply removing GA.

Of course they are gonna use that! They were hacking peoples' wiFi while doing street view. This is not a company you can trust.
