Let's say you know alot about SEO, such as going for conferences and been able to talk about it. Would it be "professional" to just outsource everything?

Such as creating the packages and just giving the work to people to do it for you or do you believe in doing all the work yourself?

I find it might be time consuming considering i'm in college. And at the moment I have around 2 clients (word of mouth) so I'm thinking of scaling it up you could say with the services.

Also at the moment I'm offering them no monthly fees (one off only) and no contracts.

Somehow business tend to go with these rather than the whole contracts and monthly fees.

Any advice would do here.

If you know a lot about it then I don't see why you shouldn't outsource. I believe you will pick the good services to do the job, so that is your work. making sure the service is good at the end, and making you profit.

If I were a client, I wouldn't mind if someone outsourced the job as long as I'm not doing anything or dealing with outsourcers.

Thanks, it does help to outsource especially if you do know all about what you're providing. Whats your take on the contracts and monthly fees?

I notice people tend to shy away from those, they don't want to be obligated i guess.

If you can make them understand that their direct competition is doing it every month and that it's almost mandatory to stay on page #1, then they should definitly go for the monthly billing. It's a guarantee that your site will stay on top

I might implement this or Offer different packages, a few with once off fees and a few where monthly payments are needed

I outsource my entire tier 1, the rest i take care of.

I have a ton of web 2.0s im just to lazy to login and post the articles myself :)

If you have more time than money, do it yourself. If you have enough money to outsource and would like to spend your limited time on better things, like getting new clients, then outsource by all means. But make sure you outsource to your own team where possible so you can monitor their activities.

Depends really. I have a lot of free time so I do everything on my own and currently focusing just on that so I do it like that. I was to expand, try new stuff, I would outsource everything.

Outsource where you can, in my opinion, to give you time to grow your business.

Definitely outsource if you know exactly what you need done. That way, you can spend more time working on other projects yourself.

If it is a task that can be outsourced for less than your time is worth, then you should do it.

Outsource, follow reports check the analytics. Find what works, drop what doesn't. Choose what you are good at, spend more time doing it. Keep Outsourcing where necessary..

Well 2 important factors, if you have lot of money and not much time, then I think you should outsource.

I do the new stuff myself or under my direct supervision and when i see that it is working , I would outsource or delegate to my staff. I would free up my time for marketing and strategy development , doing the monotonous work yourself is not having the right ROI.
