Shorts are good to gain some views and subscribers to watch your long-form videos.
Focus on long videos and post shorts every once in a while but don't make it your priority.
Thank you for this comment but: Can YT consider such shorts (snippets of an already posted longer video) as redundant, i.e self reupload, and so penalize the video(s) (=limit the video in browse and suggested) ?i agree with friends, this is about your content. If you can get a million views with Short, it's short. But the profit of long-form videos will be more than short. You can direct viewers to your long-form videos via short by sharing sections with short that will allow them to be curious and watch the entire video.
I'm not talking about re-uploading snippets of a longer video that has already been posted. YouTube has the feature to create short videos from long-form videos. Using this feature of YouTube, you can create intriguing short videos from your long-form videos and direct short video viewers to your long-form videos.Thank you for this comment but: Can YT consider such shorts (snippets of an already posted longer video) as redundant, i.e self reupload, and so penalize the video(s) (=limit the video in browse and suggested) ?
Thank you.
Focus on long videos if money is your sole target.I see many people saying that making money from YouTube shorts generates very little income, even with high view counts. Should I upload more short videos or make longer videos to earn more money?
