should we still use exact keyword anchor links?

Yea, why wouldn't we? Google still uses anchor text to determine what a website is about

  • 50% exact match keyword links
  • 20% variations of keywords links
  • 20% brand and domain name as anchor text
  • 10% URL links where the URL is the anchor text
  • AND make sure about 25-30% are nofollow!
