Hey guys

I am little worried about resuming SEO activities and buying backlinks after March 2024. Do you think it is safe to continue building backlinks ( guest posts in real clean websites). Or should I wait until the update rollouts completely?

As a side note, many sites owners right now don't accept do-follow backlinks and they offer only nofollow links. does that make any sense?

Linkbuilding won't affect you negatively. And since there isn't a super-clear pattern, unless you are doing something very sketchy it should not really matter.

Anyway, I don't have clear that it will matter at all whatever you do in this regard, either for the good or the bad. This is not a good time for "linear" SEO as we have conceived it for the past few years.

Your worries are correct. There is no point of doing SEO at all. I wouldn't waste any money or time on it.

It's common to feel undecided after an update; however, it is necessary to focus on first-rate over extent when constructing backlinks. Look for official websites to collaborate with and assess your website's performance. Diversify your one-way link sources and stay up-to-date on search engine guidelines. Even if some websites solely provide nofollow links, they can nevertheless advantage your website.

If you are building good backlinks , it will never harm the website ranking. However, if you are affected by this update, you should first improve the content.

From my point of view, just wait for a month. Track your best competitors. If they got good results after doing backlinks then you should do. I hope it will be a safe strategy not only for you but also for everyone.

Basically no one can answer this best is focus on quality content only mate

I am testing with traffic link currently, pouring some live visits through backlinks without building them. Will see how it goes.

Have a good quality backlinks and rest are taken by the update.

Or wait till the rollout goes.

I'm waiting for what will happen, but just a little bit more carefull what to select.

It's generally safe to continue building backlinks through guest posts on reputable websites. However, ensure that the sites you're targeting have genuine authority and relevance to your niche. Regarding nofollow links, while they may not directly impact SEO, they still contribute to brand visibility, referral traffic, and overall online presence, so they can be valuable in a holistic marketing strategy.

Keep building, but be smart about it. If you're going for guest posts on legit sites with real traffic, you're on the right track.
