Secondly, if you do wish to let the authority (link juice) leak into those sites you can d0follow the OBLs. Personally, I'm not fond of that, so I tend to nofollow the OBLs, but obviously that you can do that if it suits your needs (you are selling guest post / niche edit links, for example, having these OBLs d0follow could make sense), so don't let me personal choice influence you

I usually always go for NoFollow when it comes to trust links or any outerlink.

For “as seen on” mentions, I’d keep them nofollow since they’re more for credibility than SEO value. If you really want to pass equity, limit ******** to a few highly relevant, authoritative sources only

For ‘as seen on’ links, relevance and user trust matter more than preserving every bit of link juice — natural outbound links are completely normal for SEO.

Remind. Always use for those logos to strictly follow Google's guidelines regarding sponsored or non-editorial links. It’s better to prioritize your site’s safety and crawl budget than to worry about minor 'link juice' leakage to massive publications that don't need it anyway

Personally I have no problem linking out to bigger/major pubs that have mentioned one of my sites without any rel attributes on the anchor tag. Considering that nofollow tends to infer that you don't explicitly trust the link, why would you be linking to them in the first place if you didn't trust them?

Use nofollow (or sponsored) for "as seen on" links-those are just credibility badges, not meant to pass SEO value. You won't lose anything important, and it keeps your link profile safe and natural.
