Your domain needs to be memorable, so I would go with wikibbq.com. Nobody is going to remember the '-' in the domain, so keep it simple and use wikibbq.com.

theres no difference. without the hyphen is generally considered better aesthetically and convenient.

The only time a hyphen makes sense, is if the primary non-hyphenated domain is already owned by someone else AND you plan on buying it from them eventually.

I once bought the hyphen version, launched, made loads of money, then handed over big money at an auction for the non-hyphenated version.

In truth, people tend to bookmark domains anyway, and once they have visited your website a few times, they will remember the hyphen …

It also looks better in a PPC ad … because it’s somewhat easier to read.

So there are some benefits in marketing, but the assumption would be that you own the non-hyphenated version also.

hmm - I probably confused you haha … just buy both!

Thank a lot for your reply, i appreciate a lot!
I am french native so sorry for my english,)
In fact with your answer I just realized that the hyphen is something "very french" when i check about other country almost no one use it!

For instance if i am looking for "Seo Agency" in french i got the Screenshot bellow

There is no harm at all in having a hyphen in your domain name from an SEO perspective but as others have already said it's aesthetically not a preferred choice.

Like everyone esle said a domain name withouut the hyphen makes it so much more easier for users. That being said you should also have a domain name thats easy to remember and at the same times flows. For example:
" WikiBbq" vs "Bbqwiki"

In my opinion Bbqwiki sounds better and flows more.

As far as domain value, dot com for english words domain investors have little interest in hyphens, except german dot com websites, maybe a few others. SEO Ranking makes no difference if ranked, indexed, has backlinks, etc. Unless your site has an established competitor using the non hyphen version, so obviously that makes no sense to register one with a hyphen and add to prospects confusion.

https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/n...market-before-launching-a-niche-site.1475101/

Pure mint you right and so make me hesitate now,)
because the keyword is my target goal and not the "wiki"

No hyphens

I have a suggestion try for creative name than wikibbq

domain names with words related to SEO - agency, digital, tech, page, rank, web

Or new combination of words for ideas use businessnamegenerator or namestation

Do not use the hyphen unless you're catering for country where it's popular. For example in German language or Polish language internet it's quite popular.
English language website? NOPE.
