Should I use shopify 60 days trial instead 14 days trial?

    Hey guys,

Been planning to start dropshipping these days, but I'm afraid to make the first mistake on choosing which trial plan to select. Is there a catch to this 60days trial period, or it's the same as the 14days one in the shopify home page?

    I'm talking about this one:

I think you found some special deal that most people arent aware of...the 60 day trial seems like the no brainer...go for it!

I was always hesitant of shopify because of the price and annoying 14 day trial so I use another software that gives me a 30 day trial and I just re-up the trial every 30 days...May have to look into shopify now :)

The only catch on the trial is that you can't make any sale, it's a paid feature. It's more like a trial to see how to website administration looks like before you go for it.
Of course take the 60 days trial, but you'll have to pay before those 60 days if you want to sell something.

Damn... so that's of no use I guess...

Will I be able to sell with this method? Which app do u have to use to get 30days free trial?

P.S: what happens when the trial period expires? You can't make sales, or they will delete the store?

No you dont need to pay before selling. That is not true. I am also using the 60 day trial with shopify. Before making your store open to the public you will need enter your card number just so shopify can have it on file for you.

You will be charged the 29$ at the end of the 60 days trial, OR you will be charged when your sales exceed i believe 200$.

Can you please confirm this? It's really important. So, no other catch? (Also, please see what is the exact amount of money you need to make before they charge).

My bad, I may went down to the conclusion that if they need your credit card, they were going to charge you.

That's of great help, so I'll just go ahead and start my store right now with the 60 days trial.
However, I don't get why the have 14days trial, then this, separately in another page.. kinda wierd. I get the marketing aspect of it, but it's still wierd to me lol.

I used this link posted by @Lunaaa
    https://www.shopify.com/perks/quickbooks

I think this is a promotional or affiliate link with QuickBooks. No big deal, I've had several other Shopify stores before. Sometimes when the trial was ending and I still had not made any decent amount of money I contacted their customer service and asked for an extension, they generously gave me 2 weeks extension each time. The reason I like to go with Shopify instead of woocommerce is mainly because of their customer support which is really helpful.

Also highly recommend you get your own custom domain, I prefer Namecheap because it comes with free WHOISGUARD. And when you set up your store I recommend removing the "Powered by Shopify" text in the footer. PM me if you need help doing that.

Is it legal to remove that in the footer? Many services don't allow you to remove those texts in the footer.
Also, why remove it? To me, it makes the site sound safer, maybe i'm wrong.

I've never had any trouble for removing it. I like to remove it from the footer and add a Shopify badge to the cart page before checkout to give some sort of sense of security.

Sorry didn't mean to confuse you, I guess its just personal preference.
