Hi guys,

I just wanted to know some opinions on hosting two or more websites on the same server that are quite similar in content.

For example:

Site A: Contains data about IP addresses - contains millions of pages about IP addresses and locations.
Site B: Contains data about IP addresses but this time only displays information about US based IPs and shows slightly different data than the first site, perhaps extra info about history of IP...
Site C: Again, IP address info but this time the listings would contains a lot more detail. Also keyword target would be different like "IP Details" where as the first site may be "Ip Information".

The sites will essentially be competing with each other at some point but trying to dominate first page results.

So all of the websites will have different structures and designs and content to a certain extent but if they are all hosted on same IP address and/or server and Google is indexing hundreds of thousands of pages from each site, would they suspect something is up?

Is there anything wrong with any of this? or should I be hosting the sites at different locations.

Keep in mind that I've used the above as an example, this is not what my sites are about. :)

Thanks
