Should I use Clickbank?

Hello,

I have a diet related product which sells good, and I have about 1000 sales now at 130$ each. All of them are really very happy with the product. Someone suggested me to start selling it via Clickbank so I started researching about affiliate marketing. Now I have a few questions if you can guide me:

i) Do you think its a good idea for me to start selling it via affiliates? I mean it would be an ebook so will be sold at lesser price, out of which I would be getting a small percentage. So still it can make more profit for me than my usual $130 sale?
ii) I have seen a trend in Clickbank marketplace. A few products are selling quite good (For example: Venus Factor, 3Week Diet etc.), but the rest of the products (a lot of) don't even have any single sale. So why would affiliates want to sell my "new" product?

What do you say people?

You basically answered your own question, Go for it man! You have a good product and most clickbank product aren't really good.

Go for it! Affiliates will sell your product if they can make money on it (not having a crap product and a great converting page helps).

You may want to check out JVZoo instead of Clickbank. It's a newer website so there aren't as many old and outdated products on there. If your product is already selling good then it should be worth adding onto Clickbank or JVZoo.

Yes. I have a lot of good reviews from real customers, I even have a huge fan base on facebook (real). But they are all local customers, and I don't want to promote the same Clickbank Product there. So when I will add a new product on Clickbank, how will affiliates know that it is a good product and they should promote it? In other words how can I ask affiliates to promote my product?

I have researched on being a Clickbank Vendor, and how to setup sales/landing page, creation of helpful material for affiliates like articles/newsletters/banners/landing page templates, and how to provide support to the customers etc. I can easily provide all of this stuff too. But again how will affiliates know that there is a new "worthy to promote" product launched on ClickBank?

I think, you should go with Clickbank. You may be the next millionaire. There are a lot of great affeliates there on clickbank which are promoting diet related product. Also the market in your niche is always evergreen!

Definitely give it a try. Just make sure you either create a really nice sales page or hire someone to do it. This is a huge downfall for many vendor's. Some have great products but will never sell because of the god awful sales page. I wouldn't be suprised if there has been marketers and product developers that have spent hundreds even thousands of hours trying to create a near perfect formula for an amazing sales page. Really pay attention to your biggest competitors sale page and prices on their product. Don't reinvent the wheel here.

Long story short, the sales page shouldn't feel like a marathon to get to the "BUY NOW" button and it should be talking about a solution to a problem ~~in a conversational tone.~~

If your product is good affiliates will start selling and therefore you will be getting more profit.
