A while back, I removed and deleted analytics because of the google updates, and I seemed to regain some of my lost rankings. Anyways, I'm wondering if I should install analytics again.

No, I don't want alternatives. I want to know if I should install analytics again, and if it will help me with my rankings.

Oh and by that, I mean if it will help google see that there are more people coming to my site, and essentially boosting me up in the rankings because my keywords seem relevant.

    Thanks!

I say its worth a shot, after all the updates they have done. . . just about everything is a shot in the dark.

It's best to keep as many Google products/services off of your websites and computers as possible. Google is the best data miner out there, and what is not used against you today may be your downfall tomorrow.
