yeah im also worried about that, if one account holds multiple site and each have similar content, its easy for google to penalize multiple of my sites,

If you are making multiple website on same topic then you should use different Google webmaster.

I've never been sure if its a myth
Generally when I have the intention of interlink, I tend to put them in different GSC accounts.

The thing is, i had several spam websites using the same GSC account as well as a couple of decent websites,
Only the spammy ones got hit & others still perform well in the SERPs,
Now, the case will be different if you're using the account for some sort of PBN for sure,
Any way of verifying the domains/websites will leave a footprint in the first place, as well as using the same account,
For me, I don't think it's a problem to use it for money sites whenever you're interlinking them or not,
I never had a problem with such cases

Personally, I would not play with fire. Maybe if you have completely unrelated pages, some happen to be spammy and they are penalized… it could be true what you say from a realistic perspective, but since most of the SEO patterns are hyphotesis and preventions, it could be risky. Anyway I'm not saying like having 1 GSC per website because that is crazy, but I would try to partition as much as possible.

i have 30 google accounts just in different chrome profiles, i completely regret not partitioning my websites, starting from now ill partition each site evenly since one of my sites got deindexed im really worried about the other sites in my gsc

Chrome profiles are not as "secure" as you think. Also connecting to profiles with same IP is useless also. If you are going to do this well, you need a real multibrowser and a bunch of proxies to hide a little bit more.

But do you think that in any case I would be in danger if I have all my websites in the same Google Search Console? I understand that some think it won't do any harm, but if they manually penalized a site, could I ban some of my other websites?
or is this a myth?

If I were you I wouldn't, it makes everything more organized and I belive if one gets penalized it may affect the others. I have no proof of this and it is just speculation but that's my belief.

It's okay to use one Google Webmaster account for multiple websites if it works for you. But using separate accounts for each site can make management easier. If you're fine with how it's set up now, you can stick with it. Otherwise, consider using separate accounts for each site.

No need of it. If you do so then it will be very tough for you to handle. There is no problem in keeping a lot of websites in single account.
