I can't remove the EN due the backend system has this fixed.
So my question is

Do i rank abc.com or abc.com/en?

Yes both are showing the same content

Next question,
Do i need to do any canonical or redirects?

if you own abc.com then you are rich.

joke

you need tell google to rank 1 and no index the other.

if you got backlinks do 301

do you have other languages on yoursite

Do you have multiple-language versions of your website?

Change or edit your backend system

Rank abc.com and try to no-index abc.com/en.

If you have got backlinks to abc.com/en, use canonical url meta tag.

It would be better to choose abc.com instead of abc.com/en.

How do your internal URLs look like, do they contain the /en/ as well?

You should go to abc.com

I would go for abc.com

Go with abc.com that’s what I would do if I owned the site

yes they contain /en/ as well

so after reading the replies

what i did was, i redirected /en urls to the default urls

and i set my default url's canonical tag to the default urls.

is this correct?
