Should I Switch to CPM Bidding?

CPM works better if your creatives are strong and can pull clicks naturally. Otherwise you’ll just burn impressions.

I usually stick with CPC for testing. Once I know which ads get the best CTR, then I move to CPM to scale.

Depends on niche. For entertainment and viral stuff CPM can be gold, but for lead gen CPC is usually safer.

CPM is cheaper only if your ad gets a good CTR. If not, CPC will be more cost-effective.

I’ve run CPM on FB and sometimes the results are unpredictable. Works great when targeting broad audiences.

With CPM you need volume and a decent budget. Small campaigns won’t show much difference.

Try split-testing both with the same creative. You’ll see quick if CPM is giving you a better cost per result.

It’s not “better” or “worse,” just about what fits your strategy. Test, track, then scale the winner.

I’ve mostly been running CPC on my campaigns but keep hearing people say CPM can be cheaper in the long run. Anyone here using CPM? Is it worth testing compared to CPC?
Definitely worth testing, especially if you’ve got solid traffic. CPM can give you better overall reach, but it depends on your audience—if they’re engaging well, you might see a better ROI with CPM.

CPM can be inexpensive if your ads get high assignation — you’re paying for spread, not clicks. It works best for brand awareness or retargeting. CPC is safer for direct response or conversions since you only pay when people click. Test both: if your CPM campaign gets strong CTR, it can outperform CPC in cost efficiency.

I tried CPM for a small test, and while my CTR dropped, my overall ROI didn’t suffer, so it depends on your goal.

Definitely worth a test—CPM can win if your creatives drive strong engagement, but stick with CPC if clicks are your real goal.
