Should I submit every sitemap to GSC ?

Some of the CMSs generate a list of sitemaps. Should I submit only that list (site.com/sitemap.xml) or every sitemap from a list (from "sitemap.xml") ?
I'm curious because today I found out that some of the pages of my website aren't indexed (2 months have passed). And when I scan these pages in GSC it says that there is no links in sitemap on these pages...

Submit the main sitemap which is usually domain/sitemap.xml

The ones linked inside of it like would be crawled by Google.

You must definitely re-declare your website's sitemap to Google.

google does not index every page. It will crawl and will deindex.

Look at mine to see with what a shitty company you deal with. It deindexes and at the end will leave you to zero.

Theoretically it is. I know

But in reality it turns out to be something else. Google goes crazy - it indexes pages, then suddenly informs you that the same pages are not indexed.

It's best to submit the main sitemap index to GSC because it's usually link to all other sitemap. But make sure your important pages are inculded in those sitemap and properly linked.

GSC is oftentimes delayed... and other times misleading, don't just blindly believe what GSC says and then stress about it

Just check the pages yourself manually in google and if you see they're indexed that's all that matters. A tool like Scrapebox that can automate and bulk check 1000s or millions of URLs is invaluable in such scenarios...

I don't submit any sitemaps, and google always found my sites. As soon as your site goes live if its a good domain, it will show in domain linking spam SEO domains, and google still scans those some of the time, so you always get links popping up as their pages get indexed too, and with that the cascade happens, of other sites finding your sites, and or scarping from the original source, and everything linking to you. These might be considered just spam links, obviously, but they play a good job in getting your site discovered. I don't think there is any difference to a site being submitted to google with a site index than there is not doing that. Google doesn't control the way we build our sites, and understands that not everyone want a GSC account. I don't I'm happy with ahrefs free. Submitting sitemaps defiantly isn't required.

When checking your access_log file, do you see any spider visits to the missing pages at all? How is your internal linking for these pages looking like? Ideally you want every page on your site to be a maximum of 3 clicks away from your main linked-hub (usually your home page), and ideally you want each page on your site to be linked to from at least 3 other pages.
