I started my blog channel with hope that it will become popular in less time and less effort is required. But it never picked up and I realised that it is now the most competitive niche on YouTube. Should I leave vlogging and try something else?

Deciding whether to continue vlogging or pursue something else is a personal choice that ultimately depends on various factors. You can choose Yes, if you like vlog

How on earth did you build such false hopes?

You Tube is just like any other business. It requires time, efforts, knowledge and hard work. Sometimes you may see some channel grow big in less time but most of the time that is short lived. This miracle does not happen with every channel.

To make a good career and good money you have to be consistent and put time in this business.

You don't have to stop posting if you like creating vlogs because even if there are too many vlog channels on Youtube every person shares something different. So as long as you post good videos and have somethings unique you'll grow your channel.

You can continue your vlog just do not put too much effort maybe 1 or 2 videos per week, just in case anything happens.

I wanted to say that vlogging will be easier than other niches. Many vloggers became popular in less time.

For those who just record themselves and upload without editing, vlogging is easy.
For those who plan, create, record, edit, finetune, promote their videos, vlogging is time intensive business.

Yes, Many... not every. You have to be lucky to do that. You have to crack that secret code that will make you popular among your audience in less time.

Hey, Pal! you should not leave vlogging, don't lose hope. Just explore other things or places to vlog and keep uploading good videos consistently. I wish you success!

Yes, and many blogs become money-making machines in a couple of months. Unfortunately, seeing quick success in any online endeavor is the exception rather than the rule.

Just KEEP changing content if you feel, to you can find something that maybe works for you that you like creating, many channels have done that over the years, they started off doing whatever, but then once they found either their passion, talent, or lucky bag of golden acorns, then they switched, and done much better at that.

No, you shouldn’t.
Give maximum effort to your blog site and be patient, hope you get the desired success very soon.

DO u give up easily in a competition? YouTube is a survival of the fittest thing, if you give up then your channel dies.
If your niche is highly competitive, it can make gaining traction more challenging. Do some research to understand the level of saturation and the potential for growth in the niche. Look for unique angles or sub-niches within your topic that could help differentiate your content.

i will suggest you to make a challenge video of like 20 videos nah 30 videos in a month!
i mean daily upload, make it interesting and all that a vlogging required - like chatting, scenary, chaos, coloring, shades and all.
see if you get growth after 30 days or not. if not wait for 1-2 weeks and then check analytics again if its positive keep going if not then make a sign off videoon why your not making a video or leaving and then switch to other niche!

30 videos in 30 days is too much for me. It will affect quality as I have to do everything myself.

its a video challenge so do it with the lesser number and ya dont forget to tell this to your viewers though!

i am giving ya this suggestion cause here we have a vlogger who have done this 30 videos in days challenge he himself shoot record and upload and video lengths were like 12-15 mins and ya his every video was in the trending section all his 30 videos for 30 days. also by doing so he gain tons of followers along the way then on 30th day he said it was too hectic so he took 2 days of break and start uploading daily and sometimes took 1 day gap and upload.

i guess the above part would inspire you. well if you can tell me your age and race maybe i could suggest you something for your videos and that doesnt means that you have to copy paste everything i say but to take inspiration and blend according to your liking!

It all comes down to your personal goals and motivations for launching a vlog channel. If it no longer brings you joy or fulfills your purpose, it may be time to reconsider your priorities. However, if you still enjoy generating content and engaging with your audience, you should keep posting on your vlog channel. Whatever option you choose, keep in mind that your mental health and well-being should come first.
