Guys, I started targeting long tail keywords.

Is there any tool like from MOZ or SemRush which gives you % on keyword difficulty? (it only works on short tail keywords)

How could I know if I should go after long tail keyword or not?

I would be so happy for answers, or any techniques you guys using.. or tutorials... or anything

I think, Long-Tail pro is the best tool for analyzing everything. You have some doubt about it. But i see, you are going to confidently. Its most important in things for beginning. Just make sure the keywords you are targeting actually fit naturally into your content.

Longtailpro is a great tool for this. If you're already thinking of keyword difficulty. Take a look at the top 5 in the serps.

- check their TrustFlow in Majestic and their domain authority. Are these authoritative sites?

- how many links do they have pointing at that page? The more links, the harder ranking for that keyword will be.

- any top level domains ranking for that keyword with the homepage? In my experience the more of these in the top 10, the more authority and links you'll need.

- how is the content that is ranking?
