Should I start backlink

Hi fellow BHW, I am still new to SEO and i am building a website in the niche of tutoring.

I just have a quick question!
My website is in the developing phase (programmer are working on it right now) they will do the on-page SEO. We currently have a landing page. We are keeping the same domain name but we will change the hosting.

Should I start building backlinks right now?

Is it Ok to just redirect every backlinks to m'y homepage?

When we will change hosting and open our website would I keep all my backlinks ?

You can select differance pages for backlink. My opinion you must start backlink if everything is done.

- you can start now or later, usually the sooner the better
- you can have most links to homepage, but also some to internal pages
- changing hosting does not affect your backlinks

Hosting only changes your IP address, but the domain remains the same, and when you backlink you just point to the domain not the IP, so everything will remain the same
