Make use of your college life. Get to know future designers/programmers/marketeers, build connections, hook up, and start your business on the side while studying.
In the years you take to complete college, you should be able to get your business upright and running.

Don't go to college for web design when it's all free on the internet. Clients don't look at your degrees, they look at your portfolio.

I would use college for women and partying, you can do both. I believe that college will help you find a job and self education can make you rich. In this day and age jobs are hard to find and hard to keep.
The real thing is that you really can't rely on a boss for financial stability. Rather spend your time making yourself money than renting your life for a pay check. College will make your parents happy though so i would stick with it.
