i see it as college = studying so i can prove to someone else i'm capable of making THEM money.
once you have your own business it will probably do you little good.
that is not to say you shouldn't have something to fall back on. and yea, your in your first 2 years and all the classes make you want to kill yourself out of bordem or irrelevancy.
it's better to do it than not at this point.
bottom line for me though, college may be the most fun you will EVER have in your life!
run the business on the side, scope students who you think are good at web design too to start a biz with, or pay them under what you get paid and leverage them for $$gains, but DON'T FORGET TO HAVE FUN!

also remember, everyone goes to college. it won't really give you any advantage. remember to try things few are doing, thats how you get ahead in life. the guy that works hard in a huge company is similar to millions. the man who invented one tiny thing like a windshield wiper, made millions, cause his work/output was DIFFERENT. find a way to stand out, go above and beyond your competition, or market yourself or just find the demand.
