Should I start a new channel for a new series

I'm starting a new series on YT and I have an older channel that is kind of related to the same content. The older channel only has a few hundred subscribers but most of them seem to be inactive.

I'm wondering if I should start a new channel for this new series. I'm mainly concerned about branding and I'm worried about the new series being lost in the mix of all the other stuff on the old channel. This series is also for a more targeted niche. It's for kids. The old channel is for the business which is for kids and families but marketed to mainly adults. . Should I start a brand new channel?

You can group your older videos ?
Make playlist?

Or hide them on your channel for the time being ?

So keep the old channel but make a playlist for the new series. Got it. I could hide the old videos but I need to keep them active because they promote my business.

Starting a new channel is not a good idea while you have old one with same niche. You should create playlist( as mention above) use annotation also mix HRviews / like as and subscriber. ( if you're using AdSense then don't use it). Use addmefast and ytmonster for that it will increase SEO also work on keywords. Put all efforts on channel .
