Should I send low quality links to the guest posts I purchase?

These links are getting sent directly to product collection pages.

The pages that were established with the spammyish links by the $1250 person took off once I sent some higher quality ones.

But the collection pages that aren't really ranking at all don't seem to be moving after sending 1-2 guest post / niche edit links (first links the page has every had).

Even with correct on-page SEO (main keyword is the page title, URL, is in meta description, bold in top collection into the paragraph above products, and I answer google questions about keyword at the bottom of the collection page under the products). The keywords are low KD per Ahrefs too.

They're indexed too, so I'm just kind of scratching my head trying to figure out how to get these pages off the ground.

#1 result is manufacturers website
#2 is Amazon
#3 is one of my competitors

Then it's a couple of Youtube videos, the manufacturer's European site, eBay, and more competitors.

And when I say competitor I mean smaller retailers like myself.

Don’t waste your money on blog comments or cheap PBN, is my advice, unless that’s something you’re buying to point at your second tier of good quality backlinks. Those types of links are spam, and that’s what goes at the bottom of your tiered link building campaign like @Wilson Grant Fisk mentioned. They do not get pointed at tier one or your money site. That is very old link building tactics that does not work anymore for anything with any level of competition. Google simply ignores that now.
