Hey

I own a website PR5, around 7~ years up.

I provide certain widgets to other websites.

I get the following:
live links in thousands of websites
between 150k - 600k daily impressions for banners in these websites.

Traffic is around 40% western Europe, rest is various countries.

I was thinking of selling it in flippa, can provide solid proof of traffic, PR and so on.

Any ideas?

Wow not bad...
How much are you making daily on this site??.

See what people would offer you, and if you could potentially raise your PR a bit higher, possible to a 6 or 7

I believe that my site is a very stable base for links (I do not have links out by the way)

Not doing much, actually , almost nothing

I own it with an old friend, we do not have the time (and his motivation) to work on it and I hate to see it die.

We get around 10-20 new links every day, natural links!

Never did any serious SEO either.

This site is a gem. Can be a real money maker for the right IM person.

I am not sure if you are able to sell it... :/ If a site was a gem (or had any kind of potential to go really big), you would most likely already get some offers from potential buyers. That's the story of all sites that either have a very good potential or a very big in some way already.

Still, if you want to sell (but only for $XXXXX +), then simply try the auction on Flippa, and set the reverse price high - if nobody meets it, you don't sell and know your answer.

XXXXX? I would be happy with 5-8k :-)

would be a nice ending for this adventure

when you have widgets in other people's websites, alexa doesn't reflect the page views

will take your advice though, set up a flippa auction this weekend, check the market.

Thanks!

Yeah man if you don't have time for it put it up there and see if you get any offers.

May i ask what this site is called? I am curious to check it out

Sorry, can't expose it now but if it get's sold, I will post a thread of it for sure!

The main factor is your monthly revenue from this site. If you have more than $100 per month of average earning from it for at least 1 year, it may go for 10x100=$1000 at Flippa. PR, traffc and links are secondary factors to decide a site's potential price.
You can post at site flipping section if you want to get an estimate of it.

You're welcome.
Just when you will be selling the site, you should for sure describe the potential it has, the links it has and all these kind of stuff.
Since you can not claim any significant revenue, this is the only way how to convince the buyers that it is worth to pay 6K for it!

Good luck and let us know if the auction reached reverse price.

I think just selling PR5 links you could make nice passive income...Why to sell?

Are you sure that selling links is a good method? I mean, how much could I charge?

Can you say about how much the site makes daily?

all in all, we are talking about a $100 pm, tops

never got to actually monetizing it

I would think that flippa would be a great site to sell it on if you really want to.

Put it up for sale and set a reserve. Let the market decide. I recently sold a site. Didn't think I wanted too but I named a price I couldn't refuse and they accepted. Sometimes thats what you have to do.
