Since I will be joining the Gym to gain some pounds. I was thinking on making an Authority site on bodybuilding...

Shud I worry about the competition in this bodybuilding market? Do let me know how should I proceed

I would do it honestly, even if its for yourself. The market is saturated, but that doesn't mean you can't later monetize it, even if its selling protein drinks.

You definitely need to eat more man! Do the blog and post it in the Lounge here!

Just say you used a specific kind of protein powder and put an affiliate link. Or at the end of it you say I recommend you purchase this and this as it will improve muscle recovery and maximize each workout.

why not? even if, you can tell what you do, how you do it and you dont have to think a lot at it. so kinda free articles and content :)

Can make a good ebook to list on Clickbank. !

Definitely plug some affiliate products throughout and work it into the blogs/videos. Recommendation would be to do your research in the body building forums to see what the fad products are right now. Make comments about how product 'A' really helped you with your recovery or gave you that 'extra pump' jargon they're always going on about.

Ive worked in the bodybuilding industry for years. I work with some of the biggest steroid and supplement companies in the industry, it is a very difficult niche to succeed in if you do not know the niche to begin with. It takes years of research etc to become highly knowledgeable in the niche.

Making a blog may help you start in the niche, but I would suggest researching your monetization methods BEFORE you start making your blog for this niche.

On the flipside, I would highly suggest just joining a bodybuilding forum and creating your log there. This will REALLY help with your advice and getting to know the industry much better.

yes, keep up the blog, later when you will have the results, make your own product, saying how you did it, in details. Youhave your long blog that will back you up. Like before and after, and put on motivational stuff too, people will start to follow, get it real.

Still do-able even with a full market.
I have a friend that started doing it and she built a pretty good following.

She got started by sharing it with her friends on FB and they got inspired by it, resulting in them sharing her content.

It did help that she is good looking though.

Good idea.
Don't forget to create a new YT channel and upload your video progress there. Look at the Get rid of acne scar journal videos on youtube.
It gets people attention
