In january i quit my job to start my own dropshipping store.
It worked, i created my own job and made good money.

But i'm not happy, it is really been stressful lately..
Due to the delays and now i'm losing money and giving refunds.

I also don't like the niche and the product, it is really heavy to ship and not easy to pack.
So i'm thinking to start over and find local suppliers and sell my store and do it better.

What are your thoughts ?

Do you still like ecommerce (dropshipping) or not?
If you still like to create online stores and run ads, then sure look for another product.
If you want to try something else it will be hard because most things have a learning curve and take a while to start seeing results.
I know nothing about your financial situation thought.

I like ecommerce, but i don't like the way i'm doing this with long shipping times and delays, suppliers i don't know. You can't really count on them.
The product is good but heavy to ship and not easy to pack. So i'm thinking or new product that is light weight and good and bulk ordering or working with local suppliers

It seems to be working for you, except for the stress and you're not liking the work.
Start something that you think you would enjoy and sell it when the new project is making decent revenue, not before.

what is the name of the product? if you are doing dropshipping from Ali express then you should find those sellers who have warehouse in USA french Germany then target those countries

I do enjoy it, but the delays is killing me and customers are not happy so now i'm losing money

Definitely change your product to something that is needed right now (as you mentioned something lightweight or something you can sell in bulk) and working with local suppliers is a great idea.

You have the right idea. You can sell your store and use that money to buy the items in bulk in the same niche, lol. That would be my first thought.

Second thought would be to find a different item that's smaller and easier to ship. The more people spend and have to wait = the more complainers.

Yes i lean more towards bulk ordering the product to my country with my logo on it and custom packaging and having it in a fullfilment center and by the next day the customer should have the product in their home. It is better to see the products yourself then trusting a aliexpress supplier who don't care

if i were you focus a product that can find in your country. because talking buyers with your same language will feel u more comfortable

Dropshipping is all in the winner products and winner ad sets. You need to test the hell out of the product and AD before seeing massive profit.

Yes it is all about research, but i don't do facebook ads.

Sounds like you have the formula sorted in mind if you were profitable. nothing you can do about bad logistics aside from using your own logistics (not your own warehouse, but working with a 3PL company directly)

Now when you know the weak points of your product you can decide whether to move on to something smaller and easier to deal with, or source the current product locally.

I think when you become experienced you consider the product logistics heavily into the products you choose to work with (like being small and still high ticket is best)

Drop shipping requires lot of determination. I know your feeling bro, I have been there before. But it is important to be rational for doing dropshipping. because every niche that is possible to make money changes fast. Because it is a easy entry industry. You need to react fast to cut loss when it becomes too competitive, unless your product is irreplaceable.

Dropshipping is a stressful job in general. You might pick another product and feel a bit better but you are still gonna have to put the work

Try having more sources of income. Dropshipping is very competitive and a new project would be a refresher. You have a lot of content here on BHW for ideas.

have you maybe considered print on demand? printful has a us based manufacturing company or whatever and shipping is fairly fast with them if i recall correctly.
