I'm social bookmarking my linkwheel right now and was wondering if I should ping each social bookmark im creating.

The way I'm working right now is I have 3 layers:

my social bookmarks point to a linkwheel spoke. The Spoke points to the money site. I'm going to have about 50 social bookmarks per spoke.

Should I just ping the spoke? or ping every social bookmark?

I'd ping all of them if you have time, don't see how it could hurt.

    Home Page:
The spokes can get deindeex... Brand new spokes , 50 links on day 1 and no links later on... A little suspicious dont you think ?

I've been told not to ping backlinks to make it look more natural.

Thats what I thought as well, I figured social bookmarks must get crawled plenty anyhow without having to ping them.

I just wanted to make sure

there is no need to ping bookmarks . bookmarks are gor indexing and there is no need to index bookmarks because they are present in high PR sites

Extra spiders crawling the pages has never hurt rankings IME, so why not?

I didn't see the difference. I pinged them some time ago - now I don't do that - the result is the same.
