Should I ping my blogspam backlinks? Consensus?

Note: the blogspam is 2nd tier. If this should be in the blackhat section I apologize to the mods.


I've heard different things from different people. Also, what about -



- high quality profile links?
- Social bookmarks?
- Directory submissions?
- Press releases?
