Should I no-index category pages?

I have all my posts inside category pages, should I no index these since they are taking up a part of the crawling budget and they are not trying to rank any keywords.

I would say yes. If these pages are not relevant for your website and they can list the same content in different pages (duplicated content) I highly recommend you to make them not indexable.

was going to say use the silo method .

why dont each page have headdings to rank.

Will do this, couldn't display them on homepage somehow tho. Dont want to use elementor pro widget either since this will slow down my page.
