I am about to passout from my college in a month or two. I am making pretty good online but all that was done part time($3k+ a month as of now). Should I make my career in this field? How can I make sure that I don't risk out later after moving full time into IM? I need some serious advise from those who have made IM their career.

We cant tell you whats right for you. You have to make the decision for yourself if its something you really want to do.

...if you haven`t found a way to make an stable income over a decent amount of time - one that would enable you to cover your life-upkeep - then your answer is your nick.
...do not trust on IM from the start. do something to have on board when IM fails and build your career there and IM on the side-track.
