Should I make a blog or a squeeze page?

I am trying to start an email list with tons of motivational posts that I have read on this forum. My question is should I setup up a full on I'm blog or a squeeze page? My site is successfulimstrategies dot com...

Use the squeeze page to build your list and use the blog to build a lot of trust and a nice relationship

On the landing page you can give them access after they have submitted their email. Something like, "along with such and such offer, get exclusive access to our blog!" type of thing. Or even, " ..receive an exclusive invite to join our blog.."

or w/e else comes to mind. You just have to be creative.
