Should I keep same name while making profile links?

Hey guys,

I am not into profile links and I am trying my hands on 'em. Well, I have created a profile link list and started creating them but this question popped up in my mind. Well, what should be the strategy here while creating profile links besides anchor variation? Should I also vary username and profile name while building profile links?

Let me know your views.

Of course not. Leave as few footprints as possible.

I would use forum links for my tier 1/2, not main site. Be careful.

Well, these profile links are not spam, they are basically from big sites like WordPress.com, Ask.fm, etc. Besides, I am using them as an alternative to paid links because of low competition.

If these are "legit" profile links and you're not building them in the 100's or 1000's I wouldn't worry about using the same name.

Profile links are not much powerful in 2020 SEO, but you can build a few for diversity. Yes, you can use the same names if the sites are like Wordpress and it won't harm your backlink profile and website.

It is good to diversify the link profile and if it is legit then I think using the same name is no problem.
