Hi there,

I have a multi niche website with 98 unique articles. The overall niche is Lifestyle Development

I haven't posted on it in three months

The domain is now six months old. Here's my question: Does it make sense to start adding content to this domain again or would it make more sense to start a fresh one that focuses on ONE niche?

I'm honestly not sure what else to say about it to give you guys a better view on it other than the fact that I used facebook ads to get it's fb page up to 20k likes

I also bought backlinks

All in all I've invested over 1k on this site. Income earned: $5

I'd be happy to give an established member a look at it

Edit: I JUST checked my adsense account to see if the site accumulated additional earnings. Apparently the account has been disabled due to inactivity? :/

Another question that I have here is this: If I pumped out between one and 3 articles a day (unique content/diverse length 300-3000 words) until I hit around 1500-2000 articles will i rank and bank or do I need to learn about web 2.0's, PBN's, and backlinks etc

Content on the site is very important, but creating backlinks helps in ranking. Keep adding quality articles on the site, it will increase the authority of your site over time. Also, create web 2.0's like weebly, tumblr etc as your tier 1 links and try to rank for some KWs. A member here showed a case study of ranking his website with only weebly and tumblr blogs. So, I think you can do that and see if you're getting ranked for KWs or not. :)

Thats what i keep telling bro, adsense isnt a stable income method you get banned for no reason at least they told you that your account was disabled due to inactivity, in some cases it gets banned out of nowhere but the most shocking thing here is why did you invest over 1000 just to get 5 bucks? my advice? join some CPA network and you will see results in no time (assuming that you still have 20k followers/viewers.)

I had a buddy that was making $1500 a day and he said he was doing it through media buying. Everyone here says that the best way to learn is through your own mistakes so I dove in

^Lesson learned. Learning from your own mistakes is dumb.. much better to learn from the mistakes of others

I've also played around with CPA but it hasn't really led to me cashing out. Additionally, I don't like their payment systems (some are every thirty days?)

I love e-commerce because you sell something and get paid instantly. I am somewhat interested in becoming a super affiliate but have no clue how to get there. Currently my favorite MM's are eBay selling and building products/cont. programs

Lifestyle development? What's that? Is anyone buying anything related to it? Google what items people buy the most online, then narrow what you find down to a niche. You can then bank with CPA, Amazon, Adsense, whatever, but you have to be promoting something people buy repeatedly.

Lifestyle development = Social/Dating, Finance, Health, Spirituality

Chances are very low your buddy is making $1,500 a DAY with adsense on a single website. That would be a lot of traffic and at that point he'd be better off managing that ad space himself or have someone working for him managing it and he'd probably make a good chunk more. Just my thought on it but I'd be skeptical of that claim.

1500/day off PPC. That includes Adsense, Taboola, Revcontent, Adclick, and I believe for a small period of time Outbrain. At the time he was doing around 4M visits/month

He was at my house when his site got hacked by ISIS

That's nuts, I mean ya with many sites/combined smaller sites AdSense is just an easy way to do it. But if you have a single site doing that kind of traffic you should be able to sell ad space or promote something and make considerably more than AdSense CPM. Authority sites like that usually can demand a pretty good rate for ad space/banners alone.

Just posting articles wont do much.

Those articles need to target easy to rank keywords then they will be worth something.

Also having a lot of content will help the site rank but just adding content wont do anything.

You need links too.

That's definitely interesting. How long does it usually take to build an authority site?

I've read some guides here on BHW but I'm kind of nervous about going farther down the rabbit hole without seeing any roi

That makes a lot of sense. I guess that at this point I've invested a lot of time and money into this (taken SEO courses too) and haven't really seen an ROI. I'd love to make profit but I'm just now learning that there's SO much to SEO.

Think media buying and sales funnels might be better? I really don't know

I'd love it if it could become super profitable but idk.. I'd be happy to show either of you my site

Media buying cost a lot of money and its almost certain you will lose money before you turn a profit.

With SEO after you learn it you just have to put up new sites, with 1-2 months, and now you have 1k-3k a month coming in depending on the niche.

I would suggest you learn SEO first so you can get money for media buying.

I've stacked up a small lump sum that I've invested into media buying courses but I appreciate your advice. Any advanced programs/ guides you recommend that would walk me through the entire process? I've read quite a great deal of posts here on BHW and know more than (almost) anybody I personally know but not enough to get to that 1-3k in two months (or ever) point^

From what I currently understand the process is

Niche Research
Domain + Hosting
Build website in wordpress
Keyword Research
Content
Set up Web 2.0's
Buy backlinks/use web 2.0's to link back to your site
add more content & ads/affiliate offers/email optin popups?

^That covering it or am i missing stuff

At least 1 article/week is better than nothing. Pick a more specific audience: is it lifestyle development guides for married women with children? Check your most successful content, try growing through social content and invest again. You will figure it out, just don't abandon it yet.
