Should I just Cloak, or should I Spoof/Blank Referrer?

Hey guys,

I have a landing page that is a basic presell page describing my experiences with the product im promoting (its not salesy at all....written just like a consumer would write it)

Here my question should just cloak my link and let CB see where the traffic is coming from, or should spoof it saying another page referred it or should I just blank the referrer so CB can't see anything?

Im not sure if CB checks the referrrer or even cares...any ideas?

I don't think Clickbank would be worried about that - and even if they are you would probably just get a friendly nudge via email from their security team, at least that was what happened to me when i offered a bonus which went against their terms & conditions .

I agree, you will always get a warning before anything happens so just run it and see if they notice. If they do then just take it down.

I don't get why you would want to cloak your page. I mean you're not doing anything wrong. And every successful seller on Clickbank uses a pre-sell pages. The only time you need to blank and redirect a link is if you're using youtube to promote your affil link. Then you would use a cloaked link to redirect through a site like you've mentioned. You don't do it with the links on the site you mentioned but your normal link or a shortened version is scared of stealing commisions.

i blank my referrer w/no problem....but i'm making $$ from sales, not leads.

if you're making $$ from leads then i recommend faking the referrer, not blanking it.
