Should i jailbreak my iphone?

If you want to jailbreak your iphone use the Redsnow guides, he never let me down.

Only reason not to jailbreak is because of the warranty.

if you can't jailbreak it. updating it to ios7 beta might unlock it.

I can guide you through getting ios7 beta for free if you want.

seriously that is the same question as should you root your android phone or not, really depends on you. If you need more customization and apps then you should jailbreak.

Also you can always revert back which is the best to claim warranty.

OMG, so much trashy posts around here. The same question answered over and over, is almost spam. I presume the reason for this is to enlarge the current posts of some users of BHW.

Without being arrogant, the answer to the question of the OP is in quote.

Best Regards,
Francisco

Good for you Francisco.....Defender of the Jailbreakers !

I'm note a defender of jailbreakers mate. I just do not agree that cell phones are locked to a particular region.

It is a legitimate part of any user if you change your country want to continue using your phone.

Unfortunately the OP did not find any solution from the operators in the UK. In this case absolutely recommend jailbreaking.

I am not quite sure about iphone. But I had a american samsung galaxy which was locked for only one provider. Now, I definitely wasn't going to buy a new one just because I was travelling to other country. Went online, googled tutorials. Jailbreaked the fucked out of it. Never had any problem whatsoever...Not a bit. Been 2 years now.

I am guessing you wont have any problem either. But your warranty will go poof I think.

You jailbreaked the fuck out of a SAMSUNG? :o

Whited00r. I can't remember how I jailbroke mine, but there is instructions all over YouTube and the web. You just have to find the right one for your phone. I jailbroke it and then unlocked it. It takes a smart mind and maybe an hour.

Hey guys, quick question.

I managed to jailbreak the 6.1.2 but can't make the damn unlock because of the firmware version which is 3.04.25. Is there a way to downgrade the modem firmware version?

jailbreak is really easy to do (I recomend), the problem is the downgrade. I just cant downgrade my iphone =/

Should you be allowed full access to a device which you own and paid for? I think the answer is obvious.

You cant JB if the iPhone is on 6.1.3 - downgrade it to 6.1.2 then JB it.
