Should i have 2 different hosting package or just one?

I'm wondering if it would make sense if I were to have only just one hosting site but have 2 domain names (a malaysia domain .my and a philipines domain .ph) and redirect the .ph url to the malaysia domain.

It's cheaper as there's only one hosting plan to pay but i'm wondering would it make sense from SEO perspective?

Should i just stick with 2 hosting sites and work on the SEOs for both sites?

Any SEO gurus out there?

I don't know much about how SEO would be affected with what you're trying to do. I think I read somewhere that if you forward your .ph URL with masking, it will pick up the SEO on your malaysia domain, so you'd only need one website in that case. However, I'm not 100% sure if that will actually work.

doesnt matter as if your using shared hosting many other site's will also be hosted on your server on the same IP.

IMO Get a new IP for the 2nd site from the same hosting.

Yea just get anathor IP it will cost less than new hosting

if you are targeting a specific country let's say malaysia, you'd better to have a hosting based in Malaysia as this affects your ranking in SERPs for that country.
