I was planning to set up a VPS and run few pinterest account on it, I can do the same with proxies, but since I want to automate a lots of work so in that case vps seems a better idea.

I am planning to buy a cheap Unmannage vps, cost about 10/year and 250mb ram, set it up.

But I realize that I don't know jack shit about setting up a vps, it seems like you have to know some language to be able to do that.

So my question is, am I biting more than I can chew? Is it difficult to set up a unmannage vps, can it be learned. Or should I just go with proxies or buy 12/month easy to set up vps?

i don't understand well what is the purpose of buying VPS ? do you have pinterest bot and want to run it 24/7 ?
or you want to do pinterest marketing manually ?

you need proxies for pinterest account - no matter what - you are running account by bot or manually. you need one private proxy for per account

so if you have pinterest bot like pinblaster or massplanner then yes, it would be better to go for vps but if you are going to do it manually then buy only private proxies, you don't need vps for doing pinterest marketing manually.

The $10/year VPS you specified seems like Linux VPS and possibly with no graphical interface. If you're going to automate things make sure the software is compatible with the VPS OS and that it has enough specs like RAM and bandwidth. Most public Pinterest bots run on Windows natively.

And like Luka19 said you'll need proxies to login multiple accounts, especially if spamming, regardless you use a VPS.
